March 20, 2014

Dear Residents,

It’s been a little over a year since I took over as the Chief of Police of the Bazetta Township Police Department.  2013 was a very busy and productive year for the department.  We handled 6,695 calls for service which is a slight increase over 2012.  Our arrests went from 412 in 2012 to 598 in 2013.  This increase in arrests has been a direct result of the positive and professional officers taking a very proactive approach to patrolling our streets. The officers that patrol the streets and interact with the citizens of Bazetta Township have handled themselves with the utmost professionalism.  Often their work goes unnoticed and I would like to take this time to commend them for their hard work and professionalism.

To the civilian employees of the police department I would like to thank you for your great attitudes and tireless effort that you portray to our residents day-in and day-out.

To the residents of Bazetta I would like to reassure you that the quality of police services will continue and we will
work on the partnerships with the community using social media to make you aware of things occurring in the township.

I look forward to serving the residents of this community where I was raised in as a child.    Professionalism within the department will be continued and I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
